Dr. Jo-Anne Clarke
Dr. Jo-Anne Clarke is Dean of Continuing Studies at the University of Victoria and a strategic leader in continuing education, workforce development, and lifelong learning. As Past President and current Board member of the Canadian Association of University Continuing Education (CAUCE), she contributes to national conversations shaping the future of adult learning across Canada.
At UVic, she cultivates partnerships with industry, government, community organizations, and international collaborators to expand educational opportunities that respond to evolving workforce and societal needs. Her work focuses on helping learners, organizations, and institutions adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing world.
With graduate degrees in Adult and Continuing Education and Organizational Development, and a doctorate in Human and Organizational Systems, Dr. Clarke brings a systems-thinking approach to leadership, organizational transformation, and educational innovation. Throughout her career, she has been guided by a commitment to social justice, sustainability, and inclusion.
A passionate advocate for equitable access to learning, Dr. Clarke is dedicated to building resilient learning ecosystems that empower individuals, strengthen communities, and support lifelong success.
